Job Description:
  • The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be performing therapies, recording the notes of each visit, and following up with their patients.
  • The SLP will be empowered to build their schedule and maintain it consistently.
  • The SLP may have Assistants to supervise and co-sign.
  • The SLP will be given the tools (software/program, i.e., ClinicSource) to facilitate the secretarial needs of their schedules (i.e., confirming appointments), and will be expected to have computer and smartphone literacy for this reason.
  • Traveling will be expected, as we also offer services not only at our offices but at the daycare centers and schools in the surrounding areas.
  • The SLP will meet with their Supervisor at least once a month and work on therapy strategies.

Education/Certificates:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or a similar degree;
  • SLP License from the State of Florida.

Skills:
  • English speaking;
  • Bilingual (Spanish);
  • Computer literacy;
  • Smartphone literacy.

Required Work Experience:
  • At least 1 year of working with children.

Responsibilities:
  • Employ therapy proficiently;
  • Maintain a consistent roster of patients;
  • Organize your own schedule;
  • Use the software and programs provided;
  • Work with parents/guardians of the patient.
