Job Description:
- The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be performing therapies, recording the notes of each visit, and following up with their patients;
- The SLP will be empowered to build their schedule with a Supervisor and maintain it consistently;
- The SLP will be given the tools (software/program, i.e., ClinicSource) to facilitate the secretarial needs of their schedules (i.e., confirming appointments), and will be expected to have computer and smartphone literacy for this reason;
- Traveling will be expected, as we also offer services not only at our offices but at the daycare centers and schools in the surrounding areas;
- The SLP will meet with their Supervisor at least once a month and work on therapy strategies.
Education/Certificates:
- B.S. in Communications Disorders, or a similar degree;
- License from the State of Florida.
Skills:
- English speaking;
- Bilingual (Spanish);
- Computer literacy;
- Smartphone literacy.
Required Work Experience:
- At least 1 year working with children.
Responsibilities:
- Employ therapy proficiently;
- Maintain a consistent roster of patients;
- Organize your own schedule;
- Use the software and programs provided;
- Work with parents/guardians of the patient.
